Man charged in armed robbery at Southern Pines hotel
Southern Pines police charged a 17-year-old Wednesday in connection with a May 15 armed robbery at the Days Inn, 805 SW Service Road.
Posted — UpdatedCaleb Josiah Haire, of West End, was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond. His next court appearance was set for July 14.
Haire was serving probation stemming from November 2009 convictions on two counts of possessing stolen goods, according to state Department of Correction records.
