Man charged in alleged rape at ATV park

Posted June 29, 2011

— A Wayne County man faces accusations that he raped a 19-year-old woman at a campground in Goldsboro Sunday.

Maj. Tom Effler said that sheriff's deputies investigated a report of a sexual assault at Busco Beach ATV Park and Campground on Bryan Boulevard and then charged Anthony Mancenty Pfaff with second-degree rape.

Pfaff, 40, of 1210 Quinn Store Road in Beulaville, and a relative of the victim got into a fight before deputies arrived, Effler said.

Pfaff was treated at Wayne Memorial Hospital and then taken to the Wayne County jail. He was given a $100,000 bond.

"So...which drugs do you want to ban and why"

Simple, Nicotine and caffeine are legal. Marijuana is illegal and causes the brain to wobble off tilt. This is a no brainer.

@EZeegoing, nicotine is a drug that's more addictive than most narcotics. Caffeine is "the most abused drug in the United States". Marijuana has no harmful side effects and usually mellows out the user.

So...which drugs do you want to ban and why?

Wow! Looks like the relative got the best of him.

    Praying for the girl though.

No one should have to endure rape.

It's an act that affects one forever.

Busco Beach ATV park and campground has been a problem magnet since it opened. Alcohol, drugs, gasoline, wild parties all foster a crazy party atmosphere. Riders get high and ride all night which in itself invites problems. Until the owner makes it a alcohol and drug free park there will always be problems. Busco Beach is not a friendly family park.

Officers, Mr. Pfaff had just raped my 19-year old relative and he was trying to get away. When I called out to him, rather politely, to stop and wait for the police, he ran over and started attacking me, so I defended myself.

This place has been a "trouble spot" for years!!!

They should have let the relative take him home, :)!!

btw, he does look like he got a good smackdown.

If the the perp didn't provoke the whooping then the relative needs charged. You can't be judge and jury and decide someone needs a whooping just because someone claimed he did something. Wouldn't be the first time someones been accused or even charged and been found innocent.
