Man Charged After Teen, Child Grazed by Bullets
A Fayetteville man was arrested Friday in connection with shots fired into an occupied SUV early Wednesday, police said.
Posted — UpdatedJohn Davie Knight, 23, was charged with four counts of attempted murder, two counts of assault with deadly weapon with intent to kill and one count each of discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
A man shot into a Chevrolet Trailblazer in the 6700 block of Pacific Avenue on Wednesday morning, and a 15-year-old and a 4-year-old inside the vehicle were grazed by at least one bullet, police said.
The teen and the child were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
