Man arrested in Princeton, Garner drug store robberies

Posted October 24, 2011

— Police arrested a man Monday who they say tried to rob a Garner drug store on Saturday morning before stealing $125 and more than 4,000 assorted prescription pills from Woodard's Drug Store in Princeton less than two hours later.

An anonymous tipster alerted authorities to a man fitting the description of the suspect at the Raleigh Inn on Maitland Drive in Raleigh.

Kevin Lamar Green was later taken into custody.

Police said the clothing seen on surveillance video at the Rite Aid store in Garner and the stolen pills were found in Green's motel room. The gun was also recovered, but it wasn't clear where.

This guy is huge...6'5 380lbs...probably not too hard to spot! Guess he needed the 4,000 prescriptions to ease all that pain!
