Goldsboro, N.C. — A man has been charged in connection with a break-in at a Wayne County home, and a teen is wanted for the crime, Goldsboro police said Friday.
Investigators said Shai Valentine, 19, and Michael Anthony Brown, 17, of 1611 Rawlings St., broke into a home in the 500 block of Stronach Avenue around 11 a.m. Thursday, and stole several items, including three televisions.
Valentine was arrested following a patrol officer's investigation of a suspicious vehicle on Stronach Avenue.
Police said the Jeep Grand Cherokee, which the officer stopped on Rawlings Steet, contained one of the televisions taken from the home. The two other TVs were found lying in a wooded area.
Valentine, who was charged with felony breaking and entering, was placed in the Wayne County Jail under a $10,000 secured bond.
Brown is also wanted on charges of felony breaking and entering.
