Man arrested in fatal Mount Olive shooting
Michael Lee Shipman was charged with murder in the death of Javonnie Donta Langston, 33, of Goldsboro, police said.

MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. — A Mount Olive man was charged Wednesday in a shooting death that police said occurred during an argument.
Michael Lee Shipman, 26, of 802 S. Breazeale Ave., was charged with murder in the death of Javonnie Donta Langston, 33, of Goldsboro, police said. The shooting occurred at 126 Lees Country Club Road in Mount Olive, police said.
Shipman was being held without bond in the Wayne County Jail.
