Man arrested in armed robbery at Raleigh McDonald's

A suspect was in custody following an incident at a Raleigh McDonald’s on Sunday night.

— A man is in custody following an armed robbery at a McDonald's location on Blue Ridge Road in Raleigh.

Officers responded to the McDonald's at 4121 Blue Ridge Road at about 9 p.m.

Officers say Maurice Albert Johnson was taken into custody a short time later. no injuries were reported in the robbery.

Johnson is being held in the Wake County jail and is scheduled to make a first court appearance Monday afternoon.

    Ok, I accept your premise that this is "dumb". Do you accept the fact that law enforcement can give the media virtually no info? Otherwise, their case vs. the suspect is worthless. With that in mind, sir, what would you do differently?

    "A man was arrested at a McDonalds. Unnamed officers allege he broke a law or something. There is a possibility that a human being may have been hurt, although it is equally possible that no one was hurt."
