Man arrested for Southern Pines robbery

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. — Southern Pines police arrested Terrance Mann Carroway, of Aberdeen, N.C., for a July 12 robbery.

Carroway is charged with robbery with a firearm for the incident at 1113 Richards St. According to reports, Carroway pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded money. The victim then struck him, knocking the gun away, and fled on U.S. Highway 1.
