I can buy guns and ammo on the street. If someone wants something bad enough wheather it be guns, drugs or whatever, there is always someone there to sell it.

What exactly is the point of shooting into a home??? I just don't get it....kill someone and 1st..its not the person you were shooting after and 2...go to prison and not prove your point to whomever you dont like.

This would help stop those with illegal guns from obtaining ammo very easy.

I can buy ammo on the street too so how would this work again?

It seems to me that for each gun legally purchased, a card should be issued showing the caliber and serial number of the gun as well as the legal owner. The card could be checked against the buyer's id. No ammo will be sold without the purchaser showing the card and the seller recording the info from the card as well as the driver's license number, name, and address of the purchaser. This would help stop those with illegal guns from obtaining ammo very easy.

I DO NOT believe that guns should be banned. Its a simple concept. If guns are banned, only law-abiding citizens would adhere to that law.

But I DO believe there should be strict procedures in place to license gun owners. And there should be a very good way of identifying each gun and tying it to its original owner. And NO GUN should be able to be sold to another individual without the same strict procedures. There should be harsh penalties for people who do not follow these procedures. I DO NOT believe in banning guns. But I DO believe in strict enforcement of gun ownership.

I agree scooter. $5000 is much too low regardless of whether or not anyone was injured. The fact is that someone could have been killed. That to me seems almost like attempted murder. His bond was much lower and more pleasant than the "prize" he would have gotten if he had shot at my house and I found him before the police did.

How can you shoot into an OCCUPIED residence and only get 5,000 bond? All I have to say is WOW!
