<b>LILLINGTON, N.C.</b> — A 47-year-old man was shot to death near 157 Blake St. on Wednesday night.

Harnett County deputies responded to the scene shortly before 9 p.m. and found James Vines dead about 400 feet from the house.

His body was taken to Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn to await an autopsy.

Anyone with any information about the shooting is asked to call the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office  detective division at 910-893-9111.
