Man, 29, arrested in fatal Angier shooting

Angier, N.C. — Harnett County sheriff's deputies charged a 29-year-old Angier man Monday in connection with an Aug. 6 fatal shooting on Merchant Drive.
According to investigators, Lindsey Junior Tearry, of Broad Street, shot and killed Marvin Daniel Gutierrez about 11:30 p.m. Aug. 6 in the 200 block of Merchant Drive.
Tearry, who was arrested Monday on Gentry Road in Erwin, is charged with first-degree murder in the shooting. He was in the Harnett County jail early Tuesday under no bond.
