Man, 25, dies in single-car wreck in Raleigh

Raleigh, N.C. — A 25-year-old Raleigh man died early Saturday after losing control of his car and crashing on southbound Capital Boulevard near Interstate 440, police said.
According to investigators, Darnell Marquise Johnson lost control of his 2008 Ford sedan at about 4 a.m. The cause of the wreck has not been released, but authorities said Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
Authorities closed southbound lanes of Capital Boulevard and a ramp from I-440 for about three hours while investigating the wreck.
