An 18-year-old Spring Lake man was shot and killed late Wednesday in a shopping center parking lot on Ray Road in Spring Lake, police said. 

<b>SPRING LAKE, N.C.</b> — An 18-year-old Spring Lake man was shot and killed late Wednesday in a shopping center parking lot on Ray Road in Spring Lake, police said. 

Officers responding to the 6700 block of Ray Road at about 9:40 p.m. found Eric Kentrall Staten dead behind a set of trash bins. 

No arrests have been made in Staten's death. Anyone with information about the shooting should call the Harnett County Sheriff's Office at 910-893-9111.
