The TikTok legislation was included as part of a larger $95 billion package providing foreign aid to Ukraine and Israel and was passed 79-18. It now goes to President Joe Biden, who has backed the TikTok proposal and has said he will sign the package as soon as he gets it.

Durham police on Friday arrested 18-year-old Fabio Blanco, who is accused of shooting a man at an apartment complex on Broad Street Wednesday night. 

<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — Durham police on Friday arrested 18-year-old Fabio Blanco, who is accused of shooting a man at an apartment complex on Broad Street Wednesday night. <br />

Blanco, of West Rockway Street, faces one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. He was in the Durham County jail Saturday under no bond. 

According to investigators, Blanco shot a 25-year-old man around 11:15 p.m. Wednesday at an apartment building at 2112 Broad St. The man was taken to a local hospital for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
