Male pedestrian suffers non-life-threatening injuries in Raleigh wreck

Raleigh, N.C. — A male pedestrian suffered non-life-threatening injuries early Wednesday when he was hit by a car while walking across New Bern Avenue near Raleigh Boulevard, Raleigh police said.
The pedestrian was taken to WakeMed following the incident, which happened at about 7 a.m.
According to investigators, the pedestrian was not in a crosswalk when he was hit. The driver will not be charged.
