Make a valentine for a veteran at Wake libraries

Posted January 19

The project is offered at Wake County Public Library locations.

Through Feb. 5, Wake County Public Library locations will have a table and craft supplies set up for patrons to make Valentine's Day cards for veterans.

The annual project, a partnership with the Durham VA Medical Center, is a great way for kids and families to show their appreciation for those who have served our country.

The library offers paper, stickers, markers and other crafty supplies for people to express their thanks. The cards will be delivered to the Durham VA Medical Center.
