Kindergarten changes a kid. I just didn’t realize how much until my third child.

Obviously, they’re learning a ton of stuff. That’s a given. But I didn’t realize how much it would change my daughter’s style. Not that a five-year-old has “style," but she’s different than when she started.

In day care, she dressed like she was going to a royal ball every single day! It’s like those “what’s hot" and "what’s not” lists.

Hot                                                                             Not
Sassy skirts and tops                                                 Formal princess style dresses
Carly Rae Jepsen                                                       Chipmunks
A.N.T. Farm                                                                 Dora
White Cheddar Cheez-its                                           Goldfish
Sleep overs                                                                Playdates
iPod                                                                            Nintendo DS
Laces                                                                          Velcro
Plain bed                                                                     Princess carriage bed
Spelling words                                                           The alphabet song

There is one thing that hasn’t changed … she still sucks her thumb. Thank goodness there’s a part of my sweet baby left.
