Lowes Foods Super Doubles CONFIRMED for Wednesday!

Posted June 3, 2013

Lowes Foods has confirmed that they will be offering the awesome Super Doubles event starting on Wednesday, 6/5! Read on for the details!

According to their  Facebook page, they will be doubling coupons that are up to $2.00. This means a $2 coupon will double to $4 and a $1.50 coupon will double to $3.00!

My thanks to everyone who posted in the Share the Deals section about the promotion! I will start working on a good deals list today.

Lowes Foods Super Doubles Coupon Policy Basics:

Lowes Foods is doubling coupons that are $2.00 or less face value so a $1.50 coupon will double to $3 and a $1 coupon will double to $2.00! A $2 coupon will double to $4.00!

Lowes Foods doubles up to 20 coupons per day

Lowes Foods doubles up to 3 identical coupons during Super Double weeks. You must have required product to go with each coupon. On regular doubling weeks (where they double coupons that are .99 or less), they will double up to 4 identical coupons.

BOGO sales ring up at half price. If you just buy one, it still rings up at half price and you can still use a coupon on it! I love that policy!

Reminder: You can now add digital coupons to your Lowes Foods Reward card by going to These coupons will not double. You cannot combine the digital coupons with hard copy manufacturer's coupons.

The official Lowes Foods Super Doubles Coupon Policy can be found on their website. Scroll down to see the policy once you get to their website.

It was the Holly Springs one, and I usually go in the morning and they are all so nice there

I am sorry the Lowes FOods employee did not know that it was ok to use both coupons, mothar. You may want to call corporate to express your concern about the tone that was used. Which LF was this, if you don't mind sharing?

Thank you Faye and yes, I didn't explain that bit very well! I'm glad to know it truly was ok.

Mothar, If your coupon was for $1.00/1 you should have been able to use it with the BOGO coupon, as you tried to do. In your initial post you wrote that you had a coupon for $1/2 and tried to use that with a BOGO coupon, which you can't do.

    Hi, Faye,
Ok, I'm confused now, I had a b1g1 for the Bonz and also a 1.00 off 1 for the Bonz, and was buying 2. Well, actually I was buying 4 and had 2 sets of coupons. So was that ok at Lowes or is it against their policy? The manager did get a little upset when I said I'd done it before and that the b1g1 attaches to the free item and the 1 off attaches to the one I was buying. I could have sworn I'd done it before at Lowes too, but now I'm not so sure, I know I've done it at CVS and HT. She was the first to get upset, lol...but I sure wish I hadn't said that! I guess my feeling was I wanted to let her know the competition does it.

aparrish - I am working on the list now.

mothar - Actually, the Lowes Foods manager was right. You can use a BOGO coupon with a coupon for an amount off 1 item. But you should not be able to use a BOGO coupon AND a coupon for an amount off 2 products.

With the BOGO coupon, the coupon pays for one item and you pay for the other item. You can use a coupon to help pay for the other item such as $1.00/1. BUT if you use a coupon for $1/2 and a BOGO coupon, it is as it you are using 2 coupons on the free item (the BOGO coupon and the $1/2 coupon), which is not allowed. So, your Lowes Foods manager was correct. It is unfortunate that she was not any more professional when she tried to explain the use of the 2 coupons. Harris Teeter should not have allowed it either.

Will we be seeing a deals list today Faye!? Thanks for all you do to help me save!!

I got some great deals last time and I've always liked Lowes Foods, but feeling a little embarrassed about going back. I wanted to use a b1g1 with a 1 off coupon for 2 of an item (Bonz dog treats) and it beeped and the manager said they don't accept them both. I told her I'd done it before and she kind of raised her voice and said never here. So I told her I'd go do it at Harris Teeter which I did. I felt kind of bad about saying that but I really wanted those for my dog! :)

They could be giving away everything in the store for free and I wouldn't go.

I did find a number of good deals at the last LF sd event, but as you all posted, not nearly as many as HT. Hopefully this one will be better. I'll have the deals posted Tuesday.
