The meatballs at my Lowes Foods are beside the frozen pizzas on the top shelf.

Savvysaver - I found the meatballs for $2.99 at the Lowes on Louisburg Rd in Raleigh.

Savvysaver, they are 3.39 in Cary.

Two questions - 1) Does anyone know how much the House-Autry sauce is? There's a BOGO coupon for it and I want to know if it's a good deal or not. 2) I have yet to find the Cooked Perfect meatballs for $2.99. I've only seen 1 store carry them and they were priced at $3.39. Has anyone found them for $2.99?

Faye - Where would I find Cooked Perfect Meatballs on the express lane? I've looked under Frozen and under Meats.

DianeNC,

I understand. I find their prices to be even higher then HT for the things I normally buy and you are correct their sale prices don't even compare. I usually have more luck at the one on Tryon then on High House. It might just be the density of population. I have found both to be way less crowded then HT or some of the other stores. I do not thing that this super doubles would make me change my over all shopping habits either.

It's funny, because I specifically went to this particular LF because I thought they were larger than the other one on High House Road in Cary. But it seemed like they didn't even carry the smaller sizes of the Motrin, Bayer, etc. to be able to even use the coupons I had for them.

I'm not mad or upset, just seemed to be an exercise in futility. (And I found that although their prices appear to be just as high as HT - which is not a good thing, LOL - but their sale prices are not as good as HTs to make it worthwhile to even do the whole Super Doubles thing there.)

Then again, this is all just my own experience...

lilcouponer - it isn't listed as a sale price for the .90 variety. It appears to be the regular price. Sorry your store didn't have the same price.

Diane - that's too bad that you didn't have a good Lowes Foods experience. Were they out of the items you wanted or did they just not carry them at that location? I don't ever shop at the High House store, so I am not familiar with the size of the store or the day they get new trucks in. I will say that shopping on a Sunday during Super Doubles week is always hit and miss. If you were trying to use a bunch of coupons that have been available for weeks, I am sure the stock was gone. But if you tried to use coupons from today's paper, you should have found more stock.

I found some great deals today at the LF in Cary on Tryon and Cary Pkw including 6 bags of the Mahatma Rice, 4 boxes of Stouffer's French bread pizza, 3 bags of Planters trail mix, 4 bags of Knorr pasta/rice mix, 2 Planters peanut butter. Paid $9 and change.

I don't normally shop at Lowes Foods, and sadly don't think this week's "super doubles" changed that. Just got back from the one at High House/Davis Drive in Cary and couldn't find half the items that would have made the trip worth my while.(For example, although they carried Motrin IB and Alka-Seltzer, it was the larger sizes that would not have made the final cost free.) Couldn't find the Sambazon (that would have also been free with the $2 coupon, and the folk who worked there didn't know (and didn't appear to want to be bothered.)

There were a few of the 20 lb. Arm & Hammer cat litter left, so picked up two of those with the coupon I had, and a handful of other items, but that's about it.

Place was pretty empty, and definitely not worth the trip. :(

Bummer Faye. The 7 oz bags at the strickland rd store were over $2 per bag.

I was at the lowes at high house/davis and the 7 oz bag was not on sale so not sure....oh well, no jolly ranchers for me:(

Holly, in the Express Lane prices for the Clayton store, it lists a couple 7 oz bags for .90 and $1.29 so the .90 bags would be free after coupon. I am guessing they are in the candy section but I don't know for sure.

hadiyahr-the lady in front of me had the dip and her coupon doubled. this was at the LF on millbrook.

Has anyone been able to find the 90 cent jolly rancher candy? The coupon is for 6 oz or larger bag. Is the candy that is 90 cents over by the registers?

Heluva Good dip coupon states do not double hopefully my local LF will double it
