When I went around 6 yesterday evening, the signs had changed. The gain detergent no longer had sale signs so I asked a clerk. He checked and they were on sale. Not sure what that was about.

I went over and they allowed me to get the items and doubled the coupons. I will say this, anytime I have had a problem in that store and told the manager they do their best to correct it.

I spoke with the day manager and he was very nice and said their sales don't end until midnight. He is leaving a note with customer service which will allow me the sale prices and the double coupons. He said he is going to look into it. I told him about the last problem I had there and wouldn't you know it, he was the same manager I complained to then.

I think what happened is there computers reset and the clerk was to lazy to adjust by hand.

    I am going to.

If you have time, scoutmom, you really should contact corporate customer service about that one.

It was the one over at Harrison and Cary Parkway. They were there around 1030 and from what they were telling me on the phone, the prices had also changed. But it was still Tuesday and they should have honored that sale. They said the guy didn't speak very good english and told them there were not doing super doubles this week. Every time I go to that one or the one on Tryon Road the parking lot is empty especially in comparison to the HTs in the area. Even Kroger over there has more cars in their parking lot.

That is very interesting, scoutmom. Definitely a call to customer service is in order. I am really surprised. Which location was this?

I don't think I will be shopping at Lowe's anymore. I sent my sons over there tonight with my card and coupons (from the paper no less) and the clerk told my sons they weren't doing super doubles anymore. They did have the good sense to call me, I told them to get my coupons back and leave the groceries. I guess he thought they could do that since they were so young. I believe that was the final draw for me. They obviously don't need my business although their parking lots are always empty when I do go there.
