Oh! I did too!!!! I never you could score items with Aisle50! How long does it take normally to load onto your card? I was going to go to Lowe's this afternoon.

    Awesome, mys! Enjoy!

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Mar 27, 2013

jdouglas - they are skinny little asparagus stalks.

wildgrrl, we have chatted about Aisle50 on here many times. You are right that they do have some good deals from time to time.

For those new to it, here is a link to my most recent post about the program and details on how to score a FREE Martha White Muffin mix AND a FREE coke 2 ltr!

Also, if you go to Lowes Foods website you can find a promotion they use in conjunction with your rewards card, it's called Aisle 50. They email you deals from their stores and you purchase them online through them or paypal and it's pre-loaded onto your rewards card. I have racked up in the past with these offers. I got 2 boxes of Glad force-flex trash bags for $4.00. I received a confirmation email and went to the store and picked them up. They even offer a few free items here and there. The biggest deal right now is 2 - 188 oz of Sun laundry detergent for $6.00 and get the third one free. Now they've reduced it to $5.00. In essence you end up paying $1.67 for each. Check it out! Hope this helps. Any questions please ask. Thanks Steph

Nice job, Faye! How big were the asparagus? I like them a little on the big size since they come from younger plants and hold up to the BBQ grill better.

I shopped at Lowes Foods this morning and here are my totals:

Subtotal before sales and coupons: $113.06

    Amount saved: $74.99

    Amount paid: $38.07

    % Saved: 66%

I bought bananas, asparagus, 4 Dixie sugars, Sarah Lee family size pound cake (sale $3.49 - .75/1 coupon), Kahiki egg rolls, Lenders frozen bagels, lots of Bird's Eye steamfresh (we love many of the Chef's Favorties & premium varieties), Kraft cheese, Kraft mac and cheese, Kraft cheese American slices, Philly cream cheese, Keebler fudge stripes ($2 sale - .50/1 coupon), Fig Newtons (BOGO - $1 coupon from All You).

I did the Kraft deal twice buying 20 qualifying items and the $10 discount came off without a hitch.

I plan on getting produce from Aldi (or price matching at Target) this week and I have plenty of meat in the freezer already. I may hit HT for a small shop and Food Lion for more cheap yogurt, but my big shop is done for the week. Anything else we need is already in the fridge, freezer and pantry. :-)

Yep - typo on the Pepsi - the price is correct and I just corrected the B2G3 free.

Thanks for letting me know. :-)
