My issue with the one in Knightdale occurred when they sent me an email telling me they had loaded my card with an automatic $5 off on my next purchase of $40 or more. I bought all my aforementioned not on sale anywhere stuff, and when I got to the register it didn't come off. I told the cashier, who called someone over. The lady that was called over said another customer had the same complaint that same day (proving I wasn't making it up). They were making the other lady bring her printed out email back to get the $5, and wanted me to do the same! After a few comments about how that defeats the purpose of paperless savings, she FINALLY gave me the $5 off and said "oh well, if they don't like it, they should make sure their technology works". Definately not the level of customer service seen at HT.

Definitely want to pick up the 2 bags of romaine salad - glad I have a store within a few miles of me :)

I know it doesn't compare to the HT SD's but I shopped at LF today and saved 60% on my weekly groceries. I considered going to HT today but the 27 miles each way was equal to $14 in gas alone and LF had more of my "need" items on sale this week. I do hope some reason to go to Raleigh or Wilson comes up before Wednesday so I can justify a SD run.

Faye, I got the GG moneymaker chips and was also disappointed with the high fat and calorie content...which is sad because good low fat sweet potato chips are easy to make!

I shop at the Knightdale Lowe's Foods and I think they do a great job with customer service. Every once in a while they make a mistake (don't we all?), but every time I've asked them to fix it, they've absolutely followed through with no problems.

skisx - they are new and we tried them yesterday (free from HT with sale, coupon and ZVR). They are ok. A little grainy for me but my girls liked them. They aren't low fat though. They are basically like regular chips. I expected them to be a little healthier since they are from green giant. No such luck.

I want to ask what Lowes Food you go to. I go to two in the Wake Forest area just for the great custmore service.

The main one I have an issue with is Brier Creek, but Knightdale's isn't that great, either.

Green Giant tortilla chips, $1.00 - Green Giant makes tortilla chips??? who knew. :-)

Wildfrench - which LF do you shop? The one on 42/50 has great customer service, I think.

I'll be stopping in to get the free green giant sweet tater chips, romaine and chunk cheese.

Yeah, they sent me an email, too--but until and unless they get better sales, I'm pretty much done with them. I'll stop by to pick up my Aile50 stuff, but their customer service has so turned me off, I won't even buy my "not on sale anywhere but at least they double my coupon and I HAVE to have it" items there in order to get that additional $5, which I used to do.
