Nakabi, congratulations!!! I am so thrilled for you. Welcome to baby Joshua! :) And thank for the info on the laundry soap.

jdouglas-I bought 9 bottles of the Xtra laundry detergent a few weeks ago when it was this same great price and haven't noticed much of a difference. We usually only use All, but I decided to try the Xtra (we wash a lot of cloth diapers) and I've been pleasantly surprised.
I was due 5 Dec, but Joshua arrived 24 Nov (after 15 minutes of active labour and 6 minutes of pushing and has a full head of hair..something each African seems to be concerned about lol.) Adjusting to life with 3 babies has kept me quite busy hence my not being on the blog much. But thank you very much for noticing my absence!

Landomoms.com has $0.55 off one LOF lunchmeat, net $2.67 after doubling.

Nancy and Nakabi -- nice to see you both! Nakabi, when are you due?

Has anyone tried the Xtra laundry detergent? I am forever washing a load of dog towels and bedding, and just realized that they don't care if I use my pricey Tide on them...duh. But, I hate to have to wash things twice.

What's the best cheap laundry detergent?

I'm especially liking the russet potatoes for $1.50/4lbs! That's about a good a deal as they get. I will scrub/ peel and parboil for a couple minutes, then dunk in ice to stop the cooking process then chop/shred/slice etc and flash freeze on cookie sheets - then vacuum seal for future use :) I did that one time last year when 10lb bags were evic specials and they lasted a very long time and was so nice to have potatoes ready and on hand!

Now all I have to do is find a day when I have time to do it LOL

    Thank you Faye!
