Lowe's free kids workshop on 2/23: Monster Trucks!

Posted February 21, 2013

The free Lowe's Build and Grow workshop project for this Saturday is a Monster Jam monster truck "featuring Grave Digger." I must not be sufficiently schooled in Monster Truck lingo because building a Grave Digger sounds kind of scary!  Maybe if I had a son I would have some idea what this is all about.

If your little one would love his/her own monster truck with Grave Digger, head over to the Lowe's website to register your child. You do need to pre-register for these events and some do full up. If this week is already full, they are building a Monster Jam kit featuring Monster Mutt on March 9th.

The workshops start at 10:00 am and also include a free apron, goggles and a patch.

I remember Grave Digger from when I was a kid! Signed my 2yo up. Daddy may end up building it for her ;)

Does anyone know how long these workshops last? My sons birthday is Saturday and I have to pick his cake up at 11 over by our lowes and was thinking of doing this first.

quemaster-I signed my son up (he's 3.5) and my husband is going to take him on a father/son date :)

If only they allowed dads to show up and build them! Drave Digger would be great to build and have!

Ahh - thank you for the additional details, holly! Sounds like a great activity for monster truck fans!

Glad your son will get to build his own truck, clinton!

Faye--you should watch one of the monster truck shows, the Grave Digger is very popular! On March 9th Lowes will build the Monster Mutt. My son is super excited.

How neat!! The Gravedigger monster truck is from the county where I grew up, Currituck County near the Outer Banks. My nephew would love this! Thanks Faye!
