Love to ride? NC State Fair adds 2nd wristband day

Posted July 9, 2015

Fair-goers are ready for some fun on the swings.

— Those who love the rides at the State Fair will have two options to get their blood pumping. In 2015, the fair will feature two "wristband" days, where riders can pay one price and ride all they like.

On the Preview Day, Thursday, Oct. 15, riders will pay $28 for the unlimited rides from 3 p.m. to closing.

A second wristband day takes place the next day, Friday, Oct. 16. Bands cost $34, and rides are in operation from 10 a.m. to closing.

Wristbands must be purchased at the fairgrounds on the day of use.

This is the STATE Fair. None of the days will be free to ride. You can get in one day, for free, by bringing 4 canned goods, per person, on a specified day. The days with wristbands gives you the opportunity to ride unlimited, at a discounted cost, without having to continually buy ride tickets.

You can ride them the rest of the time there as well. These are just a couple special days where you can pay for unlimited instead of buying tickets
