Local, crafty combine at Raleigh's Baileywick
Posted December 12, 2012
Raleigh, N.C. — Although my Christmas shopping is complete and packages sent, I could not resist a look-see at one of Raleigh's most delightful outlets for local creativity – The Shops of Baileywick off Strickland Road. Shops of Baileywick lined with decor ideas
The dozens of mini shops are decorated for the holidays and glow with ideas for gifts and home decor. Baileywick shopkeepers offer everything from one-of-a-kind apparel to antique home furnishings to jewelry and custom wreaths.
You will find inspiration at every turn whether you are assembling a gift basket, trimming a tree or looking for a perfect centerpiece.
Whether you choose to shop the store or simply take away ideas to apply to your own home, a trip to Baileywick is well worth your while.
There are a few holiday-themed workshops still on the calendar, including "Festive Table," and all are offered for free.
Even if you have wearied of the holiday hustle and bustle, I recommend an hour (or two) at The Shops of Baileywick to renew your spirit.
