LL Cool J, Love Lies announced DPAC dates
The "Kings of the Mic" tour will visit Durham on June 16 and the stage production of "Love Lies" featuring Brian McKnight will hit the stage April 20.

DURHAM, N.C. — An epic hip-hop lineup is heading to the Durham Performing Arts Center on June 16.
LL Cool J with DJ Z-Trip will headline the "Kings of the Mic" tour. They will be joined by Ice Cube, Public Enemy and De La Soul.
Tickets go on sale Friday at noon through Ticketmaster and the DPAC box office. They range from $65 to $125 before surcharges.
Also announced Tuesday, the stage show "Hinton Battle's Love Lies" will visit the DPAC on April 20. It features an all-star cast including Brian McKnight, Angie Stone, Elise Neal, Crystal Aiken, Kier Spates and Hinton Battle. The story revolves around three women attending the funeral of a man each thought to be their fiancee.
"Love Lies" will have two performances - 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Tickets go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster and the DPAC box office. They are $48.50 before surcharges.
