RALEIGH, N.C. — Whether you're single or in a relationship, Feb. 14 (and the days that surround it) is jam-packed with fun events at bars and restaurants.
Check out the list below for our favorite Valentine's Day events, including delicious dinner specials, eclectic shopping markets and even events for you and your dog. If you don't see what you're looking for, you can find more events here.

While some events are on Valentine's Day, many occur before or after the holiday, so be sure to double check the dates before making plans!

Raleigh

Valentine's Day at Dram & Draught - Spend the evening of Feb. 14 at Dram & Draught with the Cousins Maine Lobster food truck, whiskey and craft beer.
Last-Minute Valentine's Day Market - Ponysaurus Brewing hosts this one-stop-shop-with-a-pint-in-hand experience on Valentine's Day from 3 to 7 p.m. for all your last minute shopping needs. There will be flowers, baked good, handmade crafts and beer available for purchase.
Dinner at Bin 54 - This extravagant evening at Bin 54 Steak and Cellar is one night only. On Feb. 14, the dining room will open at 5 p.m. for a $75 decadent three-course pre-fixe dinner.
Dinner at The Twisted Fork - Celebrate your sweetheart this Valentine’s Day with a "dinner for two” package offered Feb. 10 through 14. The package includes an appetizer, two entrées and a dessert for $50 per couple.
Dinner at Taverna Agora - The Greek restaurant is now accepting reservations for a special Valentine’s Day weekend dinner offered Feb. 12 through 14.
Dinner at Plates Kitchen - The Feb. 14 dinner will feature a four-course prix-fixe menu option from the creative mind of Executive Chef Chris Santucci.
Cupcake & Wine Pairing - Treat yourself on Sunday, Feb. 12, when the Wine Feed on Glenwood Avenue pairs four cupcakes from The Cupcake Shoppe with four perfectly curated wines. Tickets are $18.
Cupid's Undie Run - Party with your pants off on Saturday, Feb. 18! You'll dash in your undies and let loose at the after-party at Solas to raise funds for children with neurofibromatosis.
For the pets
Paws & Purs Fundraiser - On Saturday, Feb. 11 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., come to BottleMixx and meet some adoptable animals while enjoying a selection of delicious wines paired with cheeses and crackers. Proceeds go to help animals at Second Chance Pet Adoptions.
Puppy Cupid Crawl - Dress your dog up in the best Cupid costume ever and meet at the Raleigh Beer Garden on Saturday, Feb. 11 for a one-of-a-kind bar crawl. Your $25 ticket includes one craft beer from Raleigh Beer Garden, one shot from Cornerstone Tavern, drink specials at each location you visit and other giveaway items for you and your dog. All dog lovers are welcome, and a portion of proceeds go to a local charity.

Cary

Valentine's Craft Market - On Sunday, Feb. 12, pick out a present for yourself or for a loved one at the Downtown Cary Food & Flea market. You'll find an eclectic mix of champagne, wine, beer, lobster, shopping, gifts, music and hand-made artwork.
Wine & Chocolate Flight at Chatham Hill Winery - Bring your Valentine to this downtown winery on Feb. 11 and 12 for an exquisite wine and chocolate special featuring goodies from Videri. While you're there, throw in a winery tour. Tickets are $25.
Dinner at Dean's Seafood Grill - Visit Dean's Feb. 10 through 14 for a dinner package for two featuring an appetizer to share, two entrees and a dessert to share for $75 per couple.
Dinner at Chef's Palette - Chef's Palette will be serving a special menu on Valentine's Day from 5 to 9:30 p.m.
Dance & Dine - On Valentine's Day at 7 p.m., the Mambo Dinamico Dance Co. is hosting an event to introduce Latin culture to local couples at Carmen’s Cuban Cafe. Participants will experience Cuban food as well as music and dance that celebrates the sensual nature of Latin cultures.

Durham

Masquerade Ball - Don't miss this Masquerade Ball at the Envision Conference Center on Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. There will be food, a DJ, a comedian, spoken word artists, a dance off, a "best mask" contest and games inspired from the game show "Love Connection." Tickets are $20.
Anti-Valentine's Day Party - DJ Flash will play songs perfect for an anti-Valentine's Day party at Motorco. Tickets are $15.

Chapel Hill

Afternoon tea - Celebrate Valentine's Day early on Feb. 9 with a special Valentine's tea at the Weathervane restaurant in Southern Season. There will be a selection of savory finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones and assorted petite desserts and pastries. Tickets are $32 per adult or $18 per child, and each includes a glass of Rose Champagne or a Shirley Temple.
Dinner at Weathevane - Then, on Valentine's Day, enjoy a special dinner at the same venue. The Weathervane Restaurant and patio will offer a $40 three-course menu featuring delicacies from Executive Chef Ben Gill along with a sweet treat to end the evening. All guests will have the option to add on a $15 wine pairing.
Sweetheart Social Gluten-Free Dinner - On Tuesday, Feb. 7, the Midway Community Kitchen will feature a special dinner that includes appetizers, three courses, dessert and wine.

Wake Forest

Dinner at Farm Table - A romantic Valentine's Day dinner awaits you at this rustic Wake Forest restaurant. The culinary team will be serving up a new al la carte menu.
