Linden woman charged with Sunday stabbing death of her father

— The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office charged Donna Blue, 48, with the stabbing death Sunday night of her father, Robert Lee King.

Deputies were called to the 129 Wild Horse Drive home that Blue shared with her 63-year-old father just before 10:30 p.m. They determined that the pair had an argument the ended in the stabbing, although Blue refused to tell them what the fight was about.

Blue was taken to the Cumberland County Detention Center where she was being held under a $500,000 bond.

King's body was taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Raleigh for autopsy.

    I have been wondering about that for some time. Maybe one day we will get some answers. But remember violence never solves anything.
