Lillington police seeking person who led officers on chase
Authorities in Harnett County were searching Saturday afternoon for a person who led authorities on a chase through part of Lillington late Friday night.
Posted — UpdatedAccording to the Lillington Police Department, an officer began chasing a pickup truck about 11:30 p.m. on Main Street.
Prior to the chase, the Harnett County Sheriff's Office had advised local law enforcement officials to be on the lookout for a truck that had reportedly tried to run over people at a party.
The person driving the truck ditched the car on Old Coats Road and took off on foot.
Authorities have not made any arrests and did not provide a suspect description.
