Groundbreaking held for new Raleigh art museum

A downtown Raleigh warehouse at 409 W. Martin St. is being transformed into the Contemporary Art Museum. The renovated 20,000-sq.-ft. warehouse-turned-museum will serve as the only non-collecting museum of contemporary art and design in North Carolina. The museum hopes to hold its first art exhibition next spring.
