December 10, 2012 :: Daniel Boone's parents buried in Davie County
Daniel Boone, one of America's greatest frontiersmen, had North Carolina roots. His parents, Squire and Sarah Morgan Boone, lived and died in Mocksville, Davie County. The famous adventurer was the sixth of the couple's 11 children.
