Cloos' is hot dog heaven in Raleigh

Sports fans depressed over the NHL lockout can get their hockey-and-hot-dog fix at Cloos', a Raleigh restaurant for 25 years. The owner is a Detroit native who loves his Red Wings but also roots for the Hurricanes. There are plenty of pictures of both on the walls. He imports his hot dogs from Michigan, though many customers come in for the skinny fries and crushed ice. For almost 20 years, the Cloos' Club has been meeting at the restaurant for once a week. The ladies chat, eat and chat some more before heading home.
