Best Coffee in NC

Posted August 8, 2011

Where can you get the best cup of coffee in North Carolina? Maybe it's a restaurant or a coffee shop. Wherever it is we would like to hear about it.

My favorite coffee comes from Cup A Joe in Mission Valley Shopping Center in Raleigh. They also make a mean green eggs and ham breakfast burrito. Java Jive near my home in Cary also has some excellent coffee.

What's your favorite coffee. Tell us where to get it.

Copperbean on hwy 127 at 16th Ave. in Hickory serves several wonderful coffees. When traveling I usually find coffee I like at McDonalds.

Say what? 8 O'Clock? Folgers? McDonald's? Y'all crazy! I'm just glad no one has said Starbucks yet. Counter Culture (beans at home) or Open Eye (both beans and prepared) for me. I'm betting you drink PBR too...

Eight O'Clock 100% Columbian brewed in a Cuisinart drip brewer. It will keep fresh for two days in the caraffe.

Dilworth Coffee on East Blvd in Charlotte makes a great cup of coffee! And the free Wi-Fi doesn't hurt either!

Jumpin' Java Espresso Co. in Shallote NC. Great coffee, wonderful friendly staff and cool place to sit and relax on a hot summer day.
