Hot Towns!

The anvil is heating up. Summer’s hammer is hitting hard today with a high of 101 degrees in the Triangle.

We’ve decided to do a Hometown Hello series on hot-sounding towns in North Carolina. I’ll get the ball going with Burnsville and Bakersville. In spite of their cool mountain locations these communities carry a lot of heat in their names. What are some others?
