Montana Skies

Posted February 4, 2011

What are you doing this weekend? I have a suggestion. You can see Montana Skies in Holly Springs. You can hear them too at the Holly Springs Cultural Center tomorrow night.

Music with no boundaries. That's the theme of cellist Jenn Adams and guitarist Jonathan Adams whose music style ranges from Pink Floyd to Vivalde. We’re featuring Montana Skies today on WRAL’s Noon News in advance of their concert tomorrow in Wake County. Jenn and Jon will wow you with a remarkable sound that has taken the world music scene by storm.

I love their name and sound. The music is fiery, fun, poignant and powerful. It’s hard to believe that two musicians can deliver such a huge and harmonius sound. That’s my weekend recommendation: Montana Skies at the Holly Springs Cultural Center. What are you recommending?

Sounds good, but I'm going to see Rhonda Vincent and the Rage in Selma on Saturday night.
