What is North Carolina's best restaurant dessert? Let's crown a winner and put a cherry on top.

I don't often eat dessert when dining out. But when I go to The Angus Barn on a special occasion I cannot resist Van Eure's chocolate chess pie. I would rank this award-winning recipe as my all-time favorite restaurant dessert.

Crook's Corner in Chapel Hill has a seasonal favorite in honeysuckle sorbet. However, there is usually no more than a three-week window to enjoy that tasty treat

Irregardless in Raleigh used to serve up the best French silk pie I can recall.
