I've been thinking a lot lately about what to call my new CD coming out in September. For months I've been leaning toward "Simple Beauty" to describe a collection of songs featuring four traditional Irish melodies and eleven of my own tunes inspired by the ancient Celtic melodies. Lately I've been wavering. "Celtic Beauty" seems to fit now. But I am not totally sure. I need to make a final decision within a week or two.
There is a song on my album called "Walking Rufus." It was inspired by my 8 month old puppy who is the sweetest dog I've ever known. A friend suggested I should call the album "Walking Rufus" or "Celtic Cock-a-poo." I thought that was pretty funny. I can see Rufus in a kilt on the cover!
If any of you have suggestions I would love to consider them.
