The WRAL morning crew has been talking about bed & breakfast inns this morning. The topic started when I heard from Gary and Doris over at Oakwood Inn in Raleigh. The innkeepers said they plan to attend my music and musings performance tonight at Raleigh City Museum from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. I haven't seen Gary and Doris since they delivered a delicious batch of paczki at our studios last year.
Our Hometown Hello segment this morning profiled Hot Springs in the NC mountains. Elizabeth pointed out that Hot Springs has one of her all-time favorite B&B’s. It’s called Mountain Magnolia Inn. I checked it out on-line and it looks terrific.
Kelcey’s favorite B&B experience was in Sedona, Arizona a few years ago. She and her husband Dave loved Boots & Saddles B&B.
One of my favorite B&B experiences was several years ago at Olympic Lights with hosts Christian and Lea Andrade near Friday Harbor north of Seattle. I would love to go back there.
