Stir-Crazy Solutions

How many of you are getting a little tired of this weather? You want to venture out and do something beyond the walls of your house. You've had it with this snow routine. You're restless. You're approaching stir crazy status.

How do you break out of this suffocating routine? What is your list of Stir Crazy Solutions? Please share.

My family took a long walk with Rufus and that seemed to help everyone's disposition. Plus, a trip to the gym helped improve my mood. Hard working Kelcey Carlson says a vigorous round of closet cleaning will quickly cure cabin fever. Elizabeth Gardner likes to take a nap, then a brisk walk and some sledding. Brian Shrader beats cabin fever by watching endless episodes of Murder She Wrote.

What about you?

I caught up on my DVR, I cleaned the house and finished the laundry, I cooked a huge pot of vegetable beef soup. went for a walk with the dog, took a nap and the combination of it alll helped my stir craziness.

Did absolutely nothing and it was wonderful!

I always choose a bad weather day this time of year to wash all the pottery and glassware that sits around in our house. Not fun, but it looks so much better. Over the week-end we watched a lot of ACC basketball.

Caught up on grading papers and entering grades in the computer--hooray! More games of Scrabble vs. the computer than I care to admit. Walking outdoors, working out with the Wii, working on an impossible Peanuts puzzle my son gave me for Christmas, and reluctantly, cleaning the house. Also, getting my daughter away from her computer long enough to watch a movie together and go for a walk and a little sledding.

Thanks for the nice remarks and for making me laugh!!

I enjoyed the time by snuggling with my kitties, who I'm sure were ready for the to go to work this morning :) I also finished a few outstanding scrapbooking projects. It was a good weekend!

LMRA -- That's too funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Watched almost all of the 24 hours of Daytona. Ice Road Truckers after that.

Did anyone wake up this weekend, hear Bill's voice on tv and think "OH NO! I slept straight through to Monday!"??? I did!!!
