Friendly Kenly

Towards Creedmore there is actually a town called Shoefly, it is the same size as Emit, only this doesn't even have an intersection. There is a road sign that says Shoefly on both sides. Must be the world's smallest place, and there are no houses there. Their slogan could be "Shoefly: You can't bother me"

Burnsville NC - "Gateway to Mt. Mitchell"

Clayton - The Premier Community for Active Families

I don't live there, and it's not an incorporated town, but there's a place in Johnston County called Emit. My slogan for Emit

Emit- America's smallest town. It's literally the intersection of 39 and 231 HWY. The Emit sign is the same on both sides. So I guess you enter and leave at the same time :D

Newton Grove: Circle of Opportunity

Heard one for Chapel Hill once: Left of Center, Right at Home. Loved it!

Since I'm from Rocky Mount and it really used to be a great place to live - I'm giving it a new slogan - "Rocky Mount - A Town on a Downward Slope." Or maybe "The Yankee's brought us I-95 and a Drug Problem." Thomas Wolfe was right - "You Can't Go Home Again."

Wilson: Wide Awake Wilson. And I don't have a clue why....

Zebulon - Town of Friendly People. Don't know if it's true or not.
