Win a gift basket!

The holidays are coming. Ready, set, gain 10 pounds! Sound familiar? Well, it doesn’t have to be that way.

I’ve strayed a bit from my nutrition regimen from the summer months when I lost ten pounds with the help of registered dietitian and trainer Tara Wind. But starting this week I am re-igniting the fire of fitness. I vow to stay within two pounds of my normal weight over the holidays. Join me in this challenge by answering this blog. If you join our team over the holidays and maintain your weight goal you will be eligible to win an overflowing gift basket to be awarded in January. The gifts will include a month’s worth of personal training with Tara at Lifetime Fitness, all of my CDs, my book Blue Ridge Reunion and many other treats you will love

Here’s my challenge. Pledge to stay within two pounds of your normal weight over the holidays. Sign up for the gift basket by Friday, November 20th and you will be eligible to win. All you have to do is post on this blog that you accept the challenge and you will be entered. In early January we will use the honor system to find out how many of the entrants met their goal and those will be eligible for the final drawing.

Tara Wind will help us along the way with nutrition and exercise tips.

I would love to get in on this. What a great motivation to keep me focused on what needs to be done, which for me is the necessity to lose weight to help me possibly avoid knee surgery. Thanks Bill for the incentives!

Challenge Accepted! It will be hard spending a week over the holidays with my mother, who is a fantastic baker, thanks for the motivation Bill!

Count me in. I've started eating right and started back to the gym yesterday. I will lose at least 6 lbs. by 12-1.

Count me in!

I vow to not only maintain but lose some!! Lots of desire and incentive. Love your music Bill! Gigi

I am in on this challenge. In fact, I plan on losing weight! I walk at work and take stairs all the time. Good luck everyone and Happy Holidays!

I hope that by starting my mornings on the treadmill, I may manage to lose a couple of pounds--or at least maintain my current weight--over the holidays. I watch WRAL news while walking, so I'll have a daily reminder of my pledge.

I vow to continue to loose pounds over the holiday season. I did it last year and I will do it again this year. So far I am down 60 lbs in 50 weeks........lets keep it going.

I am absolutely in! I vow to stay at or below my current weight! Thanks for the added motivation.
