Dream lives on

Posted Updated

The dream lives on. Robert Poole of Wake Forest still wants to establish a North Carolina Hall of Fame. He's been working on this idea for years. He's met with top government and civic leaders. Robert has crafted a list of potential nominees. But where should NC Hall of Fame be located? Who or what will serve as the host? That’s what Robert has been asking lately.

“As far as the Hall of Fame is concerned, I’m really looking for anywhere that is willing to host it. I would prefer a major university, Museum of History, or a large performing arts center such as the DPAC or RBC Center. It would be better to have it in a place where lots of people are already visiting. Maybe even the terminal at RDU International. There’s a vast amount of empty space in the lobby. I would certainly appreciate any input from anybody."

What do you think? Where would you put the NC Hall of Fame?

Robert serves as the auditorium and concerts manager at Louisburg College. He is also an excellent musician and composer. You can listen to his tunes on My Space. The sweetest music to his ears, however, would be the voice of some mover and shaker saying he will help make the NC Hall of Fame a reality.
