Say Something Nice

Posted Updated
Bill Leslie

Your mom probably said: “If you can’t say something nice about someone, don’t say anything at all.”

Today, let’s honor your mom and follow her instructions.

I’d like to use this blog to generate at least 100 positive comments about someone you know. Maybe it’s your spouse who unexpectedly watered the geraniums or did two loads of wash out of the blue. Perhaps it’s your boss who left you a hand-written note about your job improvement. Maybe it was a stranger, who through some random act of kindness, warmed your heart.

Leave just one compliment per post but come back again and again to express your gratitude for others.

Let’s shoot for at least 100 comments today.

I’ll start off. I’d like to praise my wife Cindy for making a double chocolate birthday cake for my daughter Lauren despite an incredibly busy work week.

I’ll give a CD for the person who writes the most interesting comment.
