February will never win a popularity contest in North Carolina. The frosty month has been called Febru-weary. It is short but not so sweet for many people. But there are some things that I love to do in February.
I am going to list my top five things to do in February and invite others to submit ideas. Bloggers who participate will be eligible to win a copy of my book Blue Ridge Reunion published by 2D Designs last fall.
Here is my February Top Five
1. ACC basketball really heats up this month.
2. Hiking in the snowy solitude of western NC.
3. Finding a large stone hearth with a good book and a roaring fire.
4. Walking on a deserted beach.
5. Perusing pottery places.
