1.Paula Deen and sons. 2.Fresh-baked Krispie Kreme. 3.I let someone out in traffic this morning and later held the elevator for someone just entering the building. 4.Bluebirds - their song is a little sweeter. 5.Nicholas Sparks. 6.The colors of the most rare gems, the clearest sky, and the purest gold. 7.Pollyana - it's what my grandmother played with me. 8.Poking at one place on my gums with a toothpick. 9.People have a favorite? I love the whole state! 10.I didn't press charges or file an insurance claim against a teen driver who rear-ended my car. 11.I asked a woman who'd just had a hysterectomy if she was going to have any more children. 12.When I received the call that there was a baby for us to adopt.

1. An Indian family with roots back the original Thanksgiving feast. While our dishes today are tasty and grand- I'd love to experience the cultural difference of that day. 2. Dunkin Doughnuts- French Crueller, Krispy Kreme: cream filled chocolate covered doughnut. 3. I let a friend cry on my shoulder and tell me about all she was going through- even though I knew the story and didn't really agree with her. 4. Cardinals- so regal!! 5. Without a doubt: Nicholas Sparks. He is a true NC gem!!! 6. A shimmery glazed shade of Pearl 7. Life- all the twists and turns. 8. When I can't remember something I will rub my temples- like that is going to make the forgotten thought jump right out. Rarely works- but I do it every time. 9. Hatterus Island 10. Not bragging about the coolest things I have ever done- don't like to make people feel like they have missed out. 11. Sorry- I'm having a blonde moment... 12. The moment the minister declared us husband and wife.

Number 11 is the easiest question in the group. My husband and I were in a rather posh restaurant bar waiting for the rest of our group. I noticed a gentleman at the bar, enjoying a quiet drink. My husband leaned over to me and whispered "Isn't that one of the Monkees at the bar?" I looked over, and there was Mickey Dolenze! As a teenager, I was a huge Monkees fan, so, without any plan of what I would say, I went over to the poor man, and said "I'm sorry to bother you but I know who you are," then proceeded to babble for probably 2 minutes before I returned to my husband who at that point was trying to ignore me. Ugh! Talk about a nerd!

1. I wish Justin Wilson was still alive, that would be a treat. 2. A fresh, hot, right out of the oven glazed donut from Annes Donuts in Rocky Mount. 3. Found a cell phone in a parking lot, called the first number on it, got the mans address and mailed the phone to him. 4. Cardinals, I see plenty of bluebirds but not many cardinals. 5. Allan Gurganus 6. A lot like The Emerald City in The Wizard of OZ. 7. I had a few coming up, but I really liked the game of LIFE. 8. Very seldom do I wear long pants, I wear shorts all year round. 9. The Outer Banks 10.I grow my hair long so it can be cut and donated to Locks Of Love. 11.I called a Captain a Sergeant when I was in the Army, that didn't go over too good. 12.I had a heart attack a few years ago, when the Doctor told me I was going to be ok, that made me very happy.

He wasn't too offended; he married me. 12. Getting married and having two children was special, but witmessing the birth of my granddaughter was overwhelming. It is a special happiness that I have been blessed with for over 11 years.

10. What is the noblest thing you've ever done? I found money on the ground and instead of keeping it I brought it to the customer service/lost and found desk. 11. What is the dumbest thing you ever said? “Is that the empire state building?” (While driving through downtown Raleigh) 12. What was the happiest moment of your life? The happiest moment in my life would probably have to be when my step dad woke my brother and I up on Christmas Eve morning and asked us for permission to ask my mom to marry him. I was so happy for them and for my mom…they were high school sweet hearts and they were brought back into each others lives and I just felt a tremendous amount of happiness for both of them and that he was going to be a part of our family.

I've had a lot of happy moments but when our fist grandchild was born has to be the happiest. It was the greatest moment in my life when we walked in and saw that precious new life. When I touched her hand and she wrapped her little fingers around mine, well it was just amazing!

In a blonde moment, I asked when the 3 year old would be available, but retracted before they could answer when I realized the obvious answer. 12. When my preemie twins were born healthy and happy!

1-Paula Deen- mmm,mmm good! :) 2-creme filled white kind not barvarian -yuck! 3-Looking after my dying mother when I was 20 yrs old not out of duty but out of love for a woman who raised my brother and I after our Dad died 10 yrs before!Bought Christmas for a boy and his two sisters-was put in my heart and head to do and I HAD to! 4-BOTH!! 5-Nicholas Sparks - I'm #1 fan!! 6-sky blue,white,lavender,pink,gold,silver 7-Checkers!!! 8-Always put on right sock, left sock,right shoe,left shoe! 9-BEACH! Sunset Beach or really any of them! 10-Let someone else take the glory for something I thought of. 11-I do with my 1st hubby! LOL no not really - no regrets there - have 3 fine sons and now 5 grandbabies! 12-Birth of my sons, birth of my grandkids, taking my hubby to Key West last year for his 50th birthday!!!
