Best of Carolina Project

Posted July 29, 2008

We are getting ready to launch a Best of Carolina series to help our bloggers plan vacations and outings across the state. First we will establish the categories you would like to explore and then accept your nominations. Then we will set up an on line poll to give readers a chance to vote for their favorites. We will complete the process by profiling the favorites with a series of stories.

Here are some of the Best of Carolina categories we will consider: mountain vacation, beach vacation, state park, museum, barbeque, mountain overlook, sunrise, sunset, scenic drive, pottery, winery, gardens, historical site, bed & breakfast.

What other categories would you like to consider?

How about camping listings for the novice. I don't really know how to camp.... so I need a campground that is gentle. Please don't send me up the creek without a paddle...
