CEO Contest Winner

Slowpoke Leslie here finally getting around to choosing a winner in the CEO naming contest from last week. Please forgive my tardiness.

To refresh your memory I asked that you put on my CEO thinking cap and help name a number of new products with a distinct North Carolina flavor. My favorites for our publishing company were Loblolly Press,  Pines Press and Spellbinder. We had a lot of strong names for our barbeque restaurant including Pork n Fork, East Meets West, Rooter to Tooter, Curly Que and Pucker Up BBQ for the vinegar based downeast variety. I loved the Moonpie flavor for ice cream and Banana Face was strong as well.

Live Oak Estate sounds like a fine name for a winery. Take me out to the ballpark and watch the Raleigh Rowdies rip some roundtrippers.

We had a very clever name for our shaving cream brand: Inner Beltline Close Shave. Very funny! I also liked Fayetteville Foam.

My soft drink favorites were AppalaciCola, Kudzu Cola, Slippery Rock Cola, Bright Leaf Fizz, Hatteras Light and Southport Soda Pop.

The fragrance standouts were Eau de Scuppernong, Southern Belle Gardenia and Magnolia Blossoms.

So many good ones yet just one prize. Drumroll please. WildBullmoose trots away with the victory. Congratulations!  You can check off of his entries by referring to my blog posted on June 3.  Mr. Moose should contact me for a prize.  Thanks to all for participating and have a great weekend!
