What are you doing tomorrow evening? I’d love to see you in Rocky Mount.
Absolutely sensational! That’s how WRAL Meteorologist Mike Maze describes the Saturday forecast. That’s music to the ears of Al Sturgis. Al conducts the Tar River Philharmonic Orchestra. The forecast is also music to my ears because Lorica and I will be performing with Al and his wonderful orchestra tomorrow night at North Carolina Wesleyan College in Rocky Mount.
The orchestra is comprised of musicians from Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Durham, Greenville, Rocky Mount and surrounding areas. It is an outstanding ensemble and I’m honored to be on the same stage with this group. The TRPO will perform four of my compositions in addition to a lively pops and patriotic repertoire. It really should be a fun evening!
Bring a lawn chair or blanket to the lawn in front of the Dunn Center at N.C. Wesleyan College in Rocky Mount. The Junior Strings will supply pre-concert music beginning at 5:30P.M. The orchestra performance starts at 7:30.
See you in Rocky Mount!
