UNC-Duke: Predict & Win!

Life comes to a screeching halt at 9:00 tonight in North Carolina.  Find the old bean bag, plop down and watch some great basketball on WRAL TV 5.

Predict the score and team to win tonight's Carolina-Duke game and I will send you a prize.

We will give the winner a choice of prizes: a copy of John Santa's book about life as a bluegrass musician, a book I helped write featuring Bob Sadler's beautiful black and white photographs of North Carolina or a copy of my Peaceful Journey DVD.

Today's question: Who is your all-time favorite Duke or Carolina basketball player and why?

And yes, the winner of the Winter Skies Photo Contest will be announced today.

94-90 UNC

81-87 UNC

Even if Lawson was in the game I still think Duke would take them, maybe by not much but a win anyway. Yall need to stop using Lawson as a prerequisite to loosing.....

Duke 87-82 Christian Lathner, Grant Hill, Elton Brand, Boozer

I am an avid lifelong Carolina fan. I predict Duke will win 68 to 63. This way if Bill gives me the prize, I'll win by losing.

UNC wins:

93-85

Favorite player would have to be Sam Perkins and his flat footed jumper. Watching him growing up, I developed a similar shot on the dirt courts of NC.

UNC 91 Duke 87 Faves.....Tyler Hansbrough (does he count??) Just kidding.

75-72 Carolina wins. Favorite players were Hubert Davis and David Noel - Go Heels

107 - 98 UNC wins in OT. BTW, Ty Lawson is planning on playing, This came directly from him yesterday. Not quoting, but went something like, this kind of sprain only takes a couple of days to heal, when you're tough.

92-85 duke & it will break my carolina blue heart
